2008 N Liberty Street has come a long way, and I feel that it is like a microcosm of the SpringfieldHistoric District itself. I initially sold this house to the seller who just sold it, and it was in a shambles. The roof had completely failed and the house had seen better days. After a long and from what I am told, a sometimes tedious process, the house was renovated with love and care and was turned into something that was probably a bit more charming than it even was originally.

The seller was very sensitive in his renovation, and the house maintained all of its important architectural details which had survived. Today the house is a testament to the results that determination and adherence to historic renovation guidelines can produce.

Springfield has become quite popular among many home buyers and is becoming more so all the time. So much so, in fact, that inventory levels remain exceedingly low. It has become difficult to find a house that checks all of a buyer's boxes when there is such limited stock to choose from.
